Woman Shot Dead On Front Porch Of Vallejo Home
VALLEJO (CBS SF) -- A woman was found fatally shot on the porch of a home in Vallejo on Sunday night, police said Monday.
The shooting was reported at 10:21 p.m. Sunday in the 800 block of Butte Street, where officers responded and found the 57-year-old woman dead on the porch, according to Vallejo police.
The woman has been identified as Vallejo resident Lillie Mae Christiansen, police said.
Police Shoot, Wound Armed Suspect In Vallejo
Officers identified a suspect whose home was nearby. They took the suspect, 45-year-old Michael David Wilson, into custody on suspicion of murder and also found the weapon believed to be used in the shooting, according to police.
No other information about the homicide, Vallejo's seventh of 2014, was immediately available this morning.
