SAN JOSE (CBS SF) – Controversial new rules that severely restrict the operations of medical marijuana dispensaries within city limits are now in place in San Jose, and many pot club operators say the regulation will put them out of business.

If owners find an approved location to move into, inside one of the city’s designated industrial zones, they’ll have a year to do so. Part of the new law requires the businesses to grow their own medicine and make their own edibles.
