Arnold Schwarzenegger Wraps Up Production On New 'Terminator' Film

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) - Former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger revealed on his Instagram and Facebook page the official title of the next installment of the Terminator series of films, "Terminator Genisys." As seen on chair, genesis is spelled differently. He also thanked the entire crew as they wrapped up principle photography.

"Hasta la vista, baby. I want to thank the cast and crew of Terminator Genisys for a fantastic shoot," he wrote. "It was challenging, it was fun, and it was rewarding. From our director to the producers, from the camera team to catering, from visual effects to hair and makeup - we couldn't have done it without you. I can't wait to see our finished project and I know we'll remind the fans why they fell in love with the Terminator. On July 1, 2015, I'll be back." Schwarzenegger wrote on his Facebook page.

"Terminator" filming recently closed off traffic around Nob Hill and the Mission District in San Francisco. More notably, overnight filming at Oracle Headquarters in Redwood City rattled some neighbors with sounds of "movie gunfire" and special production vehicles can be seen in the parking lot.

The film co-stars Emilia Clarke of "Game of Thrones," Jason Clarke from "Dawn of The Planet of The Apes" and is directed by "Thor: The Dark World's" Alan Taylor. David Ellison son and Megan Ellison, children to Oracle CEO/Co-Founder Larry Ellison produced the film.

Paramount Picture is set to release "Terminator Genisys" July 1, 2015.
