Warriors Fans Voice Heartbreak At News They Aren't Getting Love

OAKLAND (CBS SF) - It appears that the Warriors will not be getting coveted big-man Kevin Love from the Minnesota Timberwolves, and some fans are none too happy about it.

Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports is reporting the Timberwolves have reached an agreement with the Cleveland Cavaliers to send Love to Cleveland in exchange for Andrew Wiggins, Anthony Bennett and a protected 2015 first round pick.

Love, who is considered by many to be a top five player in the league, was once rumored to be headed to Oakland but demands that guard Klay Thompson be included in the group heading to Minnesota reportedly scuttled the deal. Thompson and backcourt mate Steph Curry – known collectively as the "splash brothers" – are considered one of the premiere shooting tandems in league history. Love will now join superstar LeBron James and star guard Kyrie Irving to form the instant title favorites in Cleveland.
