Jump On Tomorrow: Guaranteed Sick Days, SJ Airport Security, AC Transit, Free Movie Screening

(KBCW) -- A Southern California Assemblywoman will hold a community meeting in San Jose to discuss legislation she is proposing that would guarantee sick days for workers.

If approved, it would guarantee three paid sick days per year for California workers.

The meeting starts at 9 a.m. at the San Jose Women's Club.

Also in San Jose Wednesday, two city councilmembers planned to talk about the high-profile security breaches at Mineta Airport and discuss how to prevent it from happening again.

AC Transit will honor 11 bus operators for driving safely, without any accidents in the past 30-years.

The staffers will get silver rings, a $250 gift certificate, and dinner.

The Marin County Mart in Larkspur will screen "Bee Movie" for free in their courtyard, starting at 6 p.m. Wednesday.
