2 Shot At Bus Stop In Fairfield

FAIRFIELD (CBS SF) -- Two people were shot at a Fairfield bus stop Thursday afternoon, a police spokesman said.

The shooting was reported at 2:03 p.m. at Tabor and Pennsylvania avenues, police spokesman Officer Cleo Mayoral said.

One victim was found at the scene suffering from gunshot wounds and another arrived at a hospital a short time later, Mayoral said.

Mayoral did not know the conditions of the victims. He said streets are closed in the area as police investigate the case and he did not yet know any suspect information or a motive for the shooting.
