An extensive search was launched for Ly after he walked away from his home last weekend.

Ly, a 16-year-old student at Moreau Catholic High School, walked into a wooded area near his home following an ongoing dispute with his father about playing the online game “League of Legends.”

The teen had no phone or wallet with him at the time of his disappearance. Authorities said there has been some activity on his Facebook account, which has led to Alameda County detectives to search for the teen in San Francisco, where the account last set off an electronic marker.
