SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) — The San Francisco tradition celebrating military service that draws in tens of thousands of people to the waterfront returns to the Bay Area after missing a year due to federal budget cuts.

Blue Angels are practicing Thursday, Oct. 9 from 12-5 p.m., which the public can watch for free. Another air show rehearsal is on Friday, Oct. 10 from 12:30-4 p.m. with the Blue Angels practicing from 3-4 p.m.
