Woman Attacked By Man Who Followed Her Through St. Helena Streets
ST. HELENA (CBS SF) -- Police are attempting to locate a man who followed and got into a scuffle with a woman in St. Helena early Sunday morning.
The victim was walking in the Tunnel of Trees on the east side of Main Street around 2 a.m. when she came into contact with an unknown man who had been following her, according to the Napa County Sheriff's Office.
The suspect and victim engaged in a brief physical struggle and the suspect ran from the scene, heading south on Main Street, according to sheriff's officials.
The suspect was described as a Hispanic man in his 20s who is about 5 feet 6 inches or 5 feet 7 inches tall without any noticeable facial hair, tattoos or scars, according to the sheriff's office. He was wearing a black baseball cap, white T-shirt and baggy blue jeans at the time of the incident.
