SAN JOSE (KCBS) – A 39-year-old janitor was arrested in Los Gatos on Thursday, after authorities allegedly found a considerable amount of child pornography in his possession.

San Jose Police spokesman Officer Albert Morales said the videos were allegedly discovered on the man’s laptop.

“There were over a hundred videos of children ranging in age from infant to 12 years old,” Morales said. “It’s hard to determine based on the video what the exact ages were, but that’s a pretty good range.”

The man was arrested at his place of employment and Morales said it was done by the Silicon Valley Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.

“The Task Force is comprised of some of the 11 agencies that are local here in Northern California,” he said. “Their sole purpose is to go ahead and scour the Internet, basically looking for any type of predators who are trying to entice young children into exchanging pornography over the Internet.”

Police said it is not clear if the videos were taken locally.
