Secretive 'Facebook At Work' Social Network Could Rival LinkedIn

MENLO PARK (CBS SF) - The days of using Facebook at work as a guilty pleasure may soon be over. The Social Media giant is reportedly developing a new site for the office called "Facebook at Work."

According to the Financial Times, the new site would compete with both Microsoft Office and LinkedIn while allowing workers to connect with colleagues and professional contacts.

FT reports that the project is being carried out in secrecy. The new site will look much like the existing Facebook interface, but will allow people to separate their personal photos and friending habits from their personal lives.

Facebook has not yet commented on the story.
