OAKLAND (CBS SF) – Officials from the City of Oakland say they’d like the public’s help keeping storm drains clean this rainy season.

The city is asking for volunteers to “Adopt A Drain” and keep one of about 10,000 free of leaves and trash. People willing to volunteer the time can sign on to adoptadrain.com and pick the most convenient drain from a map.
