PACIFICA (CBS SF) -- Emergency personnel are continuing to search for a person who was last seen face down in the water near a Pacifica beach Sunday, according to the Coast Guard.

Shortly before the Coast Guard rescue teams arrived, Pacifica fire and Daly City police lost sight of the person, who was last seen face down in the water wearing a black wet suit, according to the Coast Guard.

Coast Guard officials said the identity of the missing person is unknown at this time and asked anyone who may know the person's identity to call 911 or the Coast Guard Sector San Francisco Command Center (415) 399-3451.
