Bay Area Storm Unleashes Up To 9 Inches Of Rain, Wind Gusts Exceed 80 MPH

(CBS SF) -- Rain and wind gusts from Thursday's powerful Bay Area storm is sticking to the "forecasted script."

KPIX 5 meteorologist Paul Deanno said the storm dumped as much rain as was predicted over the Bay Area. As of Thursday afternoon, about 4-9 inches of rain fell over Sonoma County, 2-4 inches on the Peninsula, 1-3 inches in the South Bay and 3-7 inches in the Santa Cruz Mountains.
