(CBS SF) — Over 6.6 million people in the Bay Area are under an emergency Flash Flood Warning issued by the National Weather Service, including Alameda, Contra Costa, Napa, Sonoma, San Mateo, Santa Clara, and Santa Cruz counties as torrential rain continues flooding neighborhoods and streets.

Some of the worst residential and commercial flooding was reported in Daly City and Healdsburg, while street flooding is widespread with water easily overpowering cars all across the Bay Area.

The Bay Area is not alone in terms of wild weather. Wind reached 135mph near Tahoe, where people were surfing on the lake.
