Couple Claiming To Be With Children's Organization Suspected Of Robbing Fremont Resident At Gunpoint

FREMONT (CBS SF) -- Police are investigating a home invasion robbery that occurred last week in Fremont and are asking for the public's help in identifying them.

The robbery occurred Tuesday at a residence in the 39500 block of Logan Drive.

Police said a man and woman entered the victim's residence, pointed a gun at her and demanded cash and designer purses. The suspects then took several items and then fled the residence.

The two people claiming to be soliciting for a children's charitable organization were captured on a neighbor's video surveillance camera on the same day of the crime.

Police said the two are considered persons of interest in the case and are asking anyone who knows them to contact the Police Department at (510) 790-6900.
