Man Suspected Of Robbing At Least 10 Banks In San Francisco Is Arrested

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) – San Francisco police have arrested a man suspected of carrying out as many as ten bank robberies across San Francisco in recent months.

38-year-old San Francisco resident Frederick Black was arrested on December 27 in the Mid Market area for outstanding warrants and the bank robbery of a credit union, which took place on November 26.

Upon further investigation, Black has been connected to ten different bank robberies, mainly in San Francisco's Financial District.

Police said the investigation is still ongoing and anyone with information on the bank robberies should contact police anonymously at (415) 575-4444 or text-a-tip to TIP411 with SFPD at the start of the message.
