Weekend Magazine: Undiscovered Talent, Realities Of Love, And Hyper

Liz Saint John interviews three guests every Sunday morning covering a variety of issues and topics. She talks with representatives from Bay Area non-profit organizations, documentary filmmakers, authors, and professors.

1. A Good Hire: Resources for Finding Undiscovered Talent is a public awareness campaign designed to help people with an arrest or conviction record find employment and to help guide employers to finding good employees. Meredith Desautels is a staff attorney with Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights of the San Francisco Bay Area and Mike Hannigan is co-owner and president of Give Something Back Office Supplies.  Listen to the podcast here.

3. Tony Denevi was among the the first group of boys given medication for ADHD in the 1980s. He was aslo subjected to a number of failed drug or other treatments as his parents and doctors tried to get his hyperactivity under control. he was finally helped by behavioral therapy and medication.
