Oakland International Offering Travelers Bound For Texas, Hawaii Or Europe Free Parking

OAKLAND (CBS SF) -- Oakland International Airport is offering free parking for travelers on selected flights along with discounted parking in promotions to entice business travelers away from San Francisco and San Jose airports.

Passengers flying from Oakland to Texas are being offered three days of free parking at the airport. Customers can save up to $66 total by presenting their e-itinerary with a Park Free coupon.

That coupon is available at www.OaklandAirport.com/ParkFree, and it can only be redeemed at the airport's daily lot, where parking costs $22 per day.

The Park Free promotion begins Jan. 15, and is valid for any destination in Texas.

Meanwhile, travelers flying nonstop to Hawaii and Europe can park free for five days in the daily lot. Other travelers headed to any destination can receive $4 off the daily rate at the economy lot and $8 off in the premier, hourly and daily lots.

In addition, travelers using the Frequent Parker program can get one day in the daily lot free by purchasing three days at the regular rate. Businesses can also qualify for $10 off per day through the Corporate Parker program.
