SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) — Fire crews rescued a woman who fell off a cliff near the Legion of Honor in San Francisco Sunday afternoon, a fire dispatcher said.

The dispatcher said fire crews responded to a report of a woman who slipped off a cliff and fell down to the rocks below around 4:30 p.m.

Emergency personnel swam into the water and were able to reach the woman, the dispatcher said.

He didn’t know the extent of her injuries, but said she has not been transported to the hospital. As of around 6:30 p.m., the ambulance was still on scene treating the woman, he said.
