Man's Drone Crash Lands On White House Lawn

WASHINGTON (CBS SF) -- Of all the places to land a drone, one guy picked the lawn at the White House.

The man came forward to claim responsibility for the drone that crashed early Monday on the White House grounds.

The man told the Secret Service that he was using the drone recreationally, and didn't mean to fly it over the White House.

The President and First Lady were not home at the time of the incident.

The Secret Service was working to corroborate the man's story.
