SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS) — Two people were injured Thursday morning in separate vehicle versus pedestrian collisions in San Francisco.

A San Francisco police spokesperson told KCBS that a woman was critically injured after being struck by an SUV on Brotherhood Way and Thomas Moore Way in the city’s Lake Merced area at about 8 a.m.

The driver of the SUV stayed at the scene and is cooperating with authorities.

The second collision occurred at 11:22 a.m at 21st and Mission Streets in the Mission District. A van was making a turn at the intersection when the driver struck a three-year-old child.

That child was transported to a nearby hospital with what are described as non-life threatening injuries.

The driver in that collision is also cooperating with the investigation.
