'Distracted' Tour Bus Drivers Could Be Silenced From Narrating In San Francisco
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- Tour bus drivers could be silenced to keep their focus on the road in San Francisco if a city supervisor has his way.
Tour bus drivers have been allowed to narrate while driving in San Francisco.
Following last year's death of a city employee hit by an allegedly distracted tour bus driver near City Hall, city supervisor Norman Yee proposed legislation to keep their focus on the road.
According to Yee's proposed legislation, drivers could be fined for conducting a tour while driving.
