Josh Duhamel Discusses Family, Golf & New CBS Series 'Battle Creek'

MONTEREY, CA (CBS SF) - In the new CBS drama "Battle Creek" we follow two mismatched law enforcement officers with polar opposite views of the world and crime-solving. Franco Finn caught up with one of the actors of the show, Josh Duhamel at the Pebble Beach Pro-Am Golf Tournament to talk about his game, his family and about his role in the upcoming Vince Gilligan-produced ("Breaking Bad") series.(video above)

"It's sort of a cop drama slash comedy. It's sort of a tongue-in-cheek version of what I think people are used to seeing. Which is going to be refreshing hopefully..." Duhamel says. "...I'm really proud of it. We just finished the thirteenth episode in December and now it's up to the people on whether or not they like it."

"Battle Creek" also stars Dean Winters as Det. Russ Agnew, a good but gruff, hard-boiled detective, has his world upended when strikingly handsome, charismatic Special Agent Milton Chamberlain, played by Duhamel, opens an FBI field office at the police station and chooses Russ to be his partner. Winters is best known for his role as "Ryan O'Reily" on HBO's "Oz." Janet McTeer, Kal Penn, Edward Fordham, Jr. and Aubrey Dollar also star.

"Battle Creek" premieres 10:00pm Sunday, March 1st on KPIX 5/CBS.
