The convenient location next to the 19th Street Bart Station is a quick solution for those who have experienced cramped BART cars and may need a quick fix to stash their bike somewhere safe.

Chris Wong of Walk Oakland Bike Oakland, a non-profit organization said she’s had two bikes stolen and this is sorely needed.

“This is for anyone who actually wants to visit the Uptown-downtown area of Oakland who has a bike. It doesn’t matter where your destination is, but it certainly is a convenient transit hub for anyone connecting to BART or any of the AC Transit buses that run through here,” she said.
