BART Service Delayed Through San Francisco Over Police Activity

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) - Police activity at the Glen Park BART station in San Francisco Monday evening has halted service throughout multiple stations, transit agency officials said.

A BART service advisory regarding the police activity was first issued at about 5:30 p.m.

As of 5:55 p.m., trains are not running between the 24th Street and Daly City stations, a BART dispatcher said.

The major delay is impacting trains heading to the San Francisco International Airport, Millbrae, Daly City and East Bay, BART officials said.

San Francisco police said they are looking for a wanted suspect who ran from officers.

No further details were immediately available.
