Bay Area Can Expect Scattered Showers On Monday
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) – It has been a fairly dry winter in drought-stricken California, but the Bay Area can expect some rainfall in the coming days.
KPIX 5 Meteorologist Paul Deanno said on Monday, March 23, the region can expect scattered showers. "There will be rainfall throughout the entire Bay Area, with the steadiest rain expected in the North Bay," he said. "Up to a quarter inch in the North Bay and probably averaging a tenth of an inch in the rest of the Bay Area."
Deanno said this is part of a cooling trend that should begin on Friday, and continue through the weekend, with cloud cover rolling in, and temperatures down about 5 degrees.
Unfortunately, Monday's rain will not last very long, with more sun and temperatures back into the 70's beginning on Tuesday.
