Hwy 92 Lanes Open In Both Directions Following 3-Car Injury Accident And Fuel Spill

SAN MATEO (CBS SF) -- All lanes reopened on state Highway 92 near state Highway 35 in San Mateo County after a three-car accident and fuel spill Sunday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Officers responded to a report of an accident on westbound Highway 92 just east of Skyline Boulevard around 9 a.m., CHP officials said.

Caltrans was called to clean up 5 gallons of fuel that spilled as a result of the accident, according to the CHP.

CHECK CURRENT TRAFFIC CONDITIONS

At least one person was transported to Stanford Medical Center but the CHP did not have information on the person's condition this afternoon.

A Sig-alert was issued at 9:21 a.m. initially closing lanes in both directions, according to the CHP.

As of 10:55 a.m., one-way traffic control was in effect as of 10:55 a.m. and the lanes reopened shortly before 1 p.m., CHP officials said.
