Grateful Dead Rumored To Have Two Levi's Stadium Shows Planned
According to Jambase, a site for live music listings, television sportscaster Bill Walton posted and then quickly deleted a tweet stating that The Grateful Dead would be headed to Santa Clara's Levi's Stadium this summer.
The tweet reportedly read, "Just in....... The Grateful Dead have extended their 'Fare Thee Well' tour to include two concerts June 27-28 at Levi's Stadium."
Rumors had already been flying that the legendary Bay Area band would be playing the San Francisco area on their tour, which celebrates the band's 50th anniversary, but as of yet, there have been no official announcements as to where and when it might take place.
The rumor, however, does support Billboard's claim that they were looking to play the area before three dates at Chicago's Soldier Field the first week of July.
