33-Year-Old Woman Shot And Killed In San Jose
SAN JOSE (CBS SF) – San Jose police are investigating the death of a woman Tuesday night as a homicide.
Officers responded to the 1300 block of Bascom Avenue near Stokes Street around 9:55 p.m. on reports of a person shot and laying in the street.
Police said arriving officers found the woman suffering from at least one gunshot wound. Paramedics attempted to revive her but she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Upon further investigation, officers said it appears the victim, who was from the Sacramento area, was shot while in a vehicle and knew the suspect. That vehicle has been seized for evidence processing.
