Oakland Raiders Make $50,000 Donation To Help Foundation Prevent Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault

OAKLAND (KCBS)--The Oakland Raiders have partnered with the Biletnikoff Foundation and Tracey's Place of Hope as part of an effort to prevent domestic violence and sexual assault.

The Raiders announced Tuesday that owner Mark Davis donated $50,000 to Fred and Angela Biletnikoff. Davis presented the donation Monday night during the annual golf tournament benefiting the nonprofit Biletnikoff Foundation.

The organization supports at-risk youth, primarily from low- to moderate-income neighborhoods or backgrounds and was created to commemorate Tracey Biletnikoff who was murdered in 1999 at a very young age.

After recovering from drug and alcohol abuse, Tracey dedicated her own life to helping at-risk youth to recover from their own substance abuse issues.

Tracey's Place of Hope is a residential program for adolescent girls in crisis with mental health and substance abuse problems.
