Napa Soccer Coach Arrested For Allegedly Propositioning 16-Year-Old Student

NAPA (CBS SF) -- A Napa High School soccer coach is in custody after he allegedly propositioned one of his female players.

The 16-year-old student called Napa police on Saturday, saying that her junior varsity coach, Julian Vargas, had been asking her to sleep with him for the past week, even texting a picture of his penis to her this weekend.

Police secured a search warrant and paid a visit to Vargas' home in St. Helena shortly after midnight.

Vargas was booked on a variety of charges, including "contacting a minor with the intent to commit a felony."

Investigators believe that there may be other victims and are asking anyone with relevant information to call the Napa police department.
