Family Finds 175-Pound Bear In Backyard Of Ventura Home

VENTURA (CBS SF) — A Southern California family woke up to a huge surprise: a 175-pound black bear lurking in their backyard.

A few hours later, a warden from the Department of Fish and Wildlife fired a tranquilizer dart and was released into the wild later that afternoon.
