Warriors Merchandise Takes Top Sales Spot In NBA
OAKLAND (CBS SF) -- The Warriors have been on a roll this season, and merchandise sporting the team's logo is tops in the NBA.
Sales of Warriors merchandise have been rising, and much of that success has to do with the players themselves.
"It has to do with the success of the team. A lot of likeable players; Stephen Curry, obviously," Warriors Merchandise Manager Marty Young said.
Young has been with the team for ten years, and says it has never been like this. The team wasn't even in the top five at the beginning of the season, and the same went for Curry. His jersey now sells more than any other player except LaBron James.
"It's been by far the craziest year; busiest for merchandise sales by far. Double, triple what we've ever done before in business," Young said.
