Starbucks Announces It Will Stop Bottling California Spring Water For Sale Out-Of-State
SAN FRANCISCO (KPIX) -- Starbucks announced Friday it will no longer bottle water from California to ship out of state.
Starbucks' "Ethos" brand of bottled water currently comes from private springs in Placer County and is then bottled in Merced for distribution up and down the West Coast.
Starbucks says it will shift those operations to a plant in Pennsylvania over the next six months.
