Paul McCartney No Longer Smokes Marijuana

SAN FRANCISCO (KPIX 5) -- Longtime toker Paul McCartney no longer smokes pot. He said he's given up marijuana and now enjoys wine or a "nice margarita."

The former Beatle said he doesn't want set a bad example for his kids and grandchildren by using marijuana.

He called his choice to stop getting high a "parent thing," even though he's been a parent since 1969.

McCartney confesses it has been a while since he last lit up. He said was introduced to marijuana in 1964 by Bob Dylan.
