South Bay Dog Owners Warned After White Powder Found On Popular Trail
SAN JOSE (CBS SF) -- South Bay dog owners are being warned to watch what their pets pick up.
Animal Care and Control is investigating a possible poisoning attempt on the Three Creeks Trail in Willow Glen.
A black labrador retriever picked up some sort of white powder on its snout yesterday.
The owner said it came from something that looked like cat food.

The dog was taken to a nearby pet hospital and is now recovering.
The powder has been sent to a laboratory at UC Davis for testing. Results are expected back in two to three weeks.
