One person riding the roller coaster also reported a hand injury. Both individuals were transported to a hospital for medical treatment, according to California’s Great America.

A witness told KPIX 5 that it looked like a park worker at the Flight Deck ride was attempting to retrieve a cellphone that had fallen, then was struck either by the ride or a person in the ride.
