8 Best Celebrity Reactions To Warriors Winning NBA Crown

OAKLAND (CBS SF) -- If the streets of Oakland weren't loud enough after the Warriors claimed their first NBA championship in 40 years, celebrities on Twitter brought their own noise to celebrate the historic moment.

Decked out in Warriors garb, boxer Manny Pacquiao applauded the team.

Actress Sarah Michelle Gellar chimed in with, "@jarronctwin WOOHOO!!!!! Please please may I try on your ring???? @warriors for the win!!"

Singer-songwriter Fergie delivered her congratulations, particularly to "Golden Boy" Steph Curry.

Steph Curry's wife Ayesha also gave him a special shout out.

As did actor Hugh Jackman, with a heartfelt message to Lebron James.

Bette Midler couldn't help but cash in on the excitement all the way in New York.

Meanwhile, MC Hammer was in Cleveland celebrating with Draymond Green and the rest of the team.

 

And a handful of Bay Area sports superstars contributed to the jubilation.

Wide Receiver for the @49ers Anquan Boldin tweeted, "#DubNation they did the thing. What an amazing ride for a most deserving group of guys. Hats off to the @warriors and their fans."

Giants Shortstop Brandon Crawford also gave a hefty nod to the NBA champs.

The highest office in the land also showered the team with praise.

"What a team win for the Warriors and an epic season for Steph," President Obama wrote on his personal #POTUS Twitter account.
