OAKLAND (CBS SF) — About 300 people, including some of their fellow Irish students, attended a somber Catholic Mass at Oakland’s cathedral for the six Irish students killed in a Berkeley balcony collapse.

Father Aidan McAleenan said at the Mass Wednesday evening that this is a time to come together and support the parents of those killed and the seven injured, who remain hospitalized.
