SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) – One Giants fan woke up Monday without a lump on his head thanks to some nifty glove-work from his companion at Sunday’s game.
Giants shortstop Brandon Crawford hit a bouncing ball into the stands behind home plate during the 2nd inning of Sunday’s game against the Phillies. The ball was headed straight for a front-row fan who wasn’t paying attention.
Fortunately for him, his son was waiting with his glove on. Here’s the video:
