14 Apocalyptic-Looking Wragg Fire Photos Show Ash, Flames & Haze

LAKE BERRYESSA (CBS SF) — Wind-whipped flames torch thousands of acres as the Wragg Fire near Napa spreads.

Firefighters worry erratic winds and tinder dry conditions will continue to fuel the fire that has exploded to 6,000 acres.

Some 200 structures remained threatened Thursday morning. The communities of Quail Ridge and Golden Bear are under evacuation orders, and two campgrounds have also been evacuated.

Photos of the devastation depict eerie scenes as over 500 firefighters continue to battle the blaze just 5 percent contained as of Thursday afternoon.

Aerial footage shows wild deer, horses and cows making a run from the blaze.
