Craigslist Seller Lists Steve, Laurene Jobs' Old BMW Convertible
MOUNTAIN VIEW (CBS SF) -- A Craigslist seller in Mountain View has listed a BMW they claim once belonged to Apple co-founder Steve Jobs and his wife Laurene.
The 1995 BMW 325i comes with paperwork documenting the Jobs' ownership of the convertible during the time when he was not at Apple.
Jobs appears to have been the original owner of the white BMW.
The seller is asking $11,000, and claims to be the third owner, meaning he would not have purchased it from the Jobs family.
"You know, I bought the car off Craigslist. I was told at first, I didn't believe it was owned by the jobs family, I was skeptical. I went in, they handed me a piece of paper. I have no reason not to believe it," seller Julius Winegar said.
