8 Bay Area Locations Likely To Hit 100 This Weekend
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) - Clouds and fog cleared out early Friday, giving way to a big warming trend that will leave things downright hot inland this weekend.
"A ridge of high pressure is going to spread out and set in across Northern California," said KPIX 5 Weather Anchor Roberta Gonzales. "This is not good news for firefighters."
As of Friday morning, Gonzales had 100 degree temperatures likely in the following locations:
Cloverdale 101
Lake Berryessa 100
Pleasanton 100
Livermore 100
Danville 100
Blackhawk 100
Gilroy 100
Walnut Creek (too close to call)
The seven-day forecast calls for things to cool back down a bit heading into the next work week.
