Foodie Chap Enjoys The 'Good Life' With Josh Harris & Scott Baird of The Bon Vivants
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) - Much has happened in the world of the BON VIVANTS this past year. They won BEST AMERICAN BAR TEAM at the 2014 Tales of the Cocktail and a James Beard nomination followed. All good things for two hard working decent guys who encourage all to live the "good life".
I showed up at their Summer menu release to check in with Josh and Scott and to sample their new offerings. The cocktails are things of beauty, are well balanced and taste jolly good too. At this industry gathering there are tails and tongues wagging with cocktails pouring as pooch proud owners imbibe at TRICK DOG BAR in San Francisco. The BON VIVANTS and bar owners Scott Baird and Josh Harris have just unveiled the new bar menu, a calendar with 12 new cocktails and STAR BAR DOGS featured for every month of the year. Proceeds from calendar sales will benefit two local dog charities.
These giving lads kindly shared a cocktail recipe: FIGHTING COCK BOURBON - this one will put feathers on your back! The recipe for this tasty beverage is below.
The two mad dogs (Josh & Scott) and the Irish-Englishman shared tales over cocktails and discussed their latest project a revamped CAFE DU NORD on Market Street in San Francisco.
See you at the bar.
Cheers, Liam!
