3.1 Magnitude Quake In Central California
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- A 3.1 magnitude quake struck in Central California, 18 miles west of Soledad, Wednesday morning.
The quake occured at 4:39 a.m., at a depth of 5.6 miles, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
There were no reports of injuries or damages.
It is not clear if the quake was on the nearby San Andreas fault, or the Pine Rock fault.
There have been several temblors in the last week, including a 4.0 magnitude quake on the Hayward fault, Monday.
That quake was centered in Piedmont.
