SF Police Ask Public's Help Finding Suspect Who Robbed Gas Station At Gunpoint

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- Police are asking for the public's help identifying a man who robbed a gas station at gunpoint earlier this month in San Francisco's Lakeside neighborhood.

A man with a gun reportedly robbed a gas station in the 100 block of Junipero Serra Boulevard at 5:11 a.m. Aug. 8.

Surveillance video of the robbery shows the suspect approaching the clerk from behind the register and pointing his gun at the gas station attendant's side.

Police described the suspect as a black man roughly 27 to 30 years old. He was estimated to be 5 feet 9 niches tall, weighing 160 pounds.

At the time of the robbery he was wearing a black North Face jacket with the hood covering his face, according to police.
