OAKLAND (CBS SF) — The Oakland Police Department has released more information regarding a suspect being sought for an alleged kidnapping Monday night.
A witness reported seeing a suspect grab a woman and throw her into the trunk of a car in the 8100 block of Sterling Drive in Oakland around 10 p.m.READ MORE: Afghan Refugee Who Moved Family To NorCal Shot Dead In San Francisco While Working As Driver
The suspect’s vehicle is described as a two-door, black car of unknown make, possible 2000s-era model, with tinted windows and blue paper plates in lieu of a license plate, police said. The vehicle reportedly fled from Sterling Drive onto McCormick Avenue.
According to police, the suspect is described as a black man in his mid-20s who is about 6 feet tall and weighs between 180 and 200 pounds. He was wearing a red shirt and dark pants at the time of the kidnapping.READ MORE: Man Arrested In Petaluma for Possession of Loaded Firearm in Public Place
The victim is described as a black woman who was wearing a brown or tan halter top.
