Reinstallation Of 'The Bay Lights' Set To Begin

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- Electricians and construction workers will be on the Bay Bridge Wednesday to begin reinstalling The Bay Lights display.

The world's largest LED light sculpture by artist Leo Villareal went dark last March and will be back in early 2016.

The organization Illuminate the Arts is spearheading the multimillion dollar project.

The enormous dusk-to-dawn light show will shine at least until 2026 thanks to a crowdsourcing campaign and support from the State of California.
