Amoeba Music Wants To Sell Marijuana Alongside Jazz & Classical
BERKELEY (KCBS) -- Amoeba Music on Telegraph Avenue in Berkeley is hoping for a boost in sales by offering more than just vintage vinyl. The record store now also wants to sell medical marijuana.
According to The Daily Cal, Amoeba is competing for a permit to open a medical marijuana shop inside its Jazz and Classical music section, which is a separate area from the main store.
Berkeley City officials plan to hold community meetings for public input and will consider other applications as well.
